For best results and longevity of your new jewelry follow a few simple pro tips and your new pieces will last for years to come...
- Always remove jewelry and/or accessories when washing hands, showering, or swimming. Moisture can cause stones and metal to dull and become loose.
- Be careful when layering clothes and other jewelry.
- Avoid spraying or applying any alcohol or oil-based products such as; perfume, hairspray, body lotions, cleansers or hair grooming products on or near the jewelry. The alcohol or oil content will cause certain beads to crack, dull the finish and loosen, and cause metal parts to discolor or tarnish.
- Never expose jewelry pieces to extreme heat or direct sunlight over long periods of time as this can cause colors to fade.
- To clean your jewelry use a dry soft cloth. Never submerge in cleaning solution or water.
- Store stretch bracelets and beaded necklaces and bracelets in airtight containers when not wearing them for long periods of time. This will keep the elastic and hardware fresh and damage free.
- Store your jewelry in a cool closed case and avoid direct contact with other metals. We recommend the pouch or box that we provided you at purchase.
Materials and Hardware
Some of our metals are plated, brass, gun metal and stainless steel. We use plated silver and gold nickel free hardware in our earring hooks and most of our designs. These metals (excluding stainless steel) will naturally tarnish or show signs of wear overtime. Most of our stones and beads are vintage dead stock (no longer in circulation) so treat them as if they are precious stones. Very rare and hard to replace.
Repairs
We understand that circumstances may arise where your jewelry breaks by accident or by other inconveniences. You may contact us within six months of your purchase regarding any repairs. If we still carry the parts of your item, we can discuss a quick repair plan. Please note that you are responsible for covering the shipment of your item(s) to us.
